Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri has denied reports claiming Hamas is willing to release nine hostages in exchange for a two-month ceasefire is false.

Axar.az informs Abu Zuhri stated that Hamas is prepared to release all the hostages in one phase, on the condition that Israel agrees to end the war with international guarantees.

He accused Israel of spreading false information to "confuse the public" and exert pressure on Hamas.

CNN earlier reported, citing an unnamed Hamas official, that the group had agreed to release nine hostages amid a two-month ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, with the Israeli military withdrawing to the enclave’s outskirts, alongside the release of 300 Palestinian security prisoners.
