Biden diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer

Former U.S. President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

Axar.az reports that the cancer, identified after Biden sought medical attention for urinary symptoms, is considered high-grade (Gleason score 9), but is hormone-sensitive, meaning it can likely be managed.

The diagnosis has drawn bipartisan support and well-wishes from figures including Donald Trump, Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Biden had previously stepped down from the 2024 election due to health concerns and has made limited public appearances since. He has long been an advocate for cancer research, especially after losing his son Beau to brain cancer in 2015.
