A delegation of the Azerbaijani parliament, led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) Sahiba Gafarova, has arrived in the Kingdom of Spain on an official visit.

Axar.az reports this information was provided by the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis.

At Madrid’s Barajas International Airport, Speaker Gafarova was welcomed by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Spain, Ramiz Hasanov, and other officials.

During the visit, the Speaker of the Milli Majlis is scheduled to hold meetings with several Spanish officials. The talks will focus on the current state and future development of Azerbaijani–Spanish interparliamentary relations.

The official visit will conclude on May 20.
