Axar.az reports he stated that since June 1993, he had served as the head of the rear service headquarters.

Bako Sahakyan was also seen in the video shown during the interrogation of the accused. The footage showed military personnel sitting behind a desk discussing documents and maps. From the video and Sahakyan's statements, it became clear that various commanders participated in these discussions.

In the video shown, Bako Sahakyan identified himself, General Kristapor Ivanyan, Samvel Karapetyan, Movses Hakobyan, Samvel Babayan, Vitali Balasanyan, Vachagan Iskhanyan, and others.

Bako Sahakyan, an Armenian citizen who once “led” the puppet regime established by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and is currently on trial in Baku for numerous crimes against Azerbaijan and its people, has admitted in an open court hearing his involvement in preparing and discussing military operations and combat orders aimed at the occupation of our sovereign territories by Armenia in the past.

The trial continues for Armenian citizens accused of crimes against peace and humanity, including war crimes, acts of terrorism, the preparation and execution of aggressive war, genocide, violations of war laws and rules, forcible seizure and retention of power, as well as financing terrorism, among other offenses stemming from Armenia's military aggression.
