Moscow insists on the Swedish authorities' strict implementation of their obligations under the Vienna Convention in connection with the recent drone attack on the Russian embassy in Sweden.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We insist on the Swedish authorities' strict implementation of the obligations of the receiving country under the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations in terms of ensuring the physical security and inviolability of Russian missions abroad," the diplomat said.

It should be noted that on May 25, the Russian embassy in Sweden was attacked by a drone. Thus, paint cans were thrown at the embassy building by a drone.
