The US Embassy in Kyiv has advised its citizens in Ukraine to exercise caution and seek shelter during airstrike warnings.

Axar.az reports that the relevant statement was published on the American embassy website.

Russia has increased the intensity of missile and drone attacks against Ukraine in recent weeks, and the risk of significant airstrikes remains. The US Embassy in Kyiv urges its citizens to exercise caution, the statement says.

In particular, US citizens in Ukraine are advised not to stand near windows during airstrike warnings, to choose shelters in advance, and to monitor local media updates.

It should be noted that Russian leader Vladimir Putin stated during a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump that he would respond to attacks on the country's airfields.
