The transfer of the bodies may take place next week. Russia is waiting for an official notification from Kyiv.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the representative of the Russian negotiating team, Lieutenant General Alexander Zorin.

"There are signals that the humanitarian action will be postponed to next week. I confirm that we are waiting for an official notification that the action to return the bodies will be held through a channel known to the Ukrainian side. We are ready to return more than six thousand bodies in batches - by car and rail," Zorin said.
