Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone call with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, for the second time in the past 24 hours.

Axar.az reports that the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration released a statement on this.

Erdogan welcomed Trump's position on ending the Israeli-Iranian conflict.

The Turkish leader said that the conflict between the two countries has caused irreversible economic and civilian damage to the parties.
