The negotiations between the US and Iran have not yet ended, and Tehran is in contact with Washington.

Axar.az reports that this was said by US President Donald Trump.

According to Trump, the Iranians are in contact with the Americans: "They even offered to come to the White House for talks."

At the same time, Trump did not say exactly when negotiations with Iran could resume:

"I don't know how long this (Israeli-Iranian war - ed..) will last. They are completely defenseless. The Iranians have absolutely no air defense. We have complete control of the airspace over Iran."

He refused to talk about whether the US would strike Iran:

"I may not do it. I mean, no one knows what I'm going to do. I can tell you this: Iran is in big trouble, and they want to talk."
