Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided not to launch new strikes on Iran after a phone call with US President Donald Trump.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in a statement from the office of the head of the Israeli government.

"The ceasefire was established at 07:00 in the morning. At 03:00 in the morning, Israel launched a powerful strike on the center of Tehran, striking regime targets and killing hundreds of Basij fighters and Iranian security forces. Iran launched missile strikes shortly before the ceasefire agreement came into effect," the statement said.

The statement also said that at 07:06, Iran launched one missile into Israeli territory, and at 10:25, two more missiles.

"In response to Iran's ceasefire violations, the Air Force destroyed a radar network near Tehran. Israel refrained from additional attacks after US President Donald Trump's conversation with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu," the statement said.
