In the near future, everyone in the Middle East will breathe a little easier if the Iran-Israel conflict truly pauses for some time.

Axar.az informs Russian political analyst Yevgeny Mikhailov said this while commenting on recent events in the Middle East.

“But in the future, preparations will be made for even greater confrontation. The Arabs have realized that the Americans do not keep their word. It is quite likely that some countries in the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula will rearm with different types of weapons, not just American ones, once they understand that America can betray anyone at any moment—even its closest ally. Turbulence is only increasing. To avoid a global confrontation in the Middle East, the main players must sign some kind of peace memorandum. However, this does not exclude further explosive situations in Syria, between India and Pakistan, from the Yemeni Houthis, and so on. Israel’s actions, in general, are an absolutely destabilizing factor in the region. Until Israel changes its policy, this factor will remain constant. Until Israel adopts the position that was assigned to it long ago by the UN, stability will not be achieved. Stability will come only if the US stops supporting Israel,” he noted.
