Today, one of the important tasks facing Azerbaijani media is learning about artificial intelligence.

Axar.az reports that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, said this in a statement to journalists during the 3rd Shusha Global Media Forum.

He noted that discussions are already being held with media leaders about the use of artificial intelligence in daily operations:

“We are studying international practices in this field. If we look at translation work today, although there are still some technical problems with reproducing background voices in the Azerbaijani language, there have been good results in terms of translations from Russian and English. These tools are already being used on several media platforms.”

Hajiyev also emphasized that they have been conducting experiments with artificial intelligence:

“We published an article created by AI in one of Azerbaijan’s media outlets. But no one was able to distinguish that it was written by artificial intelligence.”
