A drone attack struck central Moscow overnight between May 3 and 4.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian Telegram channels, an unmanned aerial vehicle hit a high-rise residential building during the incident.

Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin confirmed the strike, saying: “According to preliminary information, a drone hit a building in the Mosfilmovskaya district. There were no casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene.”

The Telegram channel “Exilenova+” reported that the drone was an FP-1 type strike UAV. It also stated that this was the first such incident in a long time involving attack drones near the Kremlin.

Journalist Mark Krutov of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty said a Ukrainian drone bypassed the “Pantsir” air defence system and struck a residential building in an upscale Moscow district located just 6 kilometres from the Kremlin.
