The central fixture of Round XXX of the Azerbaijan Premier League has been played.

Axar.az reports that two sides battling for second place - “Qarabag” and “Turan Tovuz” - met at the Tofiq Bahramov Republic Stadium, with the Aghdam-based club securing a 2:1 victory.

In the standings, “Qarabag” sits second with 62 points, while the Tovuz representative holds third place with 56 points.

In other matches of the round, “Kapaz” defeated “Sumqayit” 2:1, “Imisli” beat “Araz-Nakhchivan”, “Zira” edged “Qabala” 1:0, and “Sabah” overcame “Shamaxi” 3:0.

The round will conclude on May 5 with the match between “Karvan-Yevlax” and “Neftchi”.
