Inter Milan clinch Serie A title with 2-0 victory over Parma

Inter Milan have clinched the Serie A title ahead of schedule.

Axar.az informs that the Milan side secured the championship with a 2–0 home win over Parma in the 35th round. Marcus Thuram opened the scoring in first-half stoppage time, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan added a second goal in the 80th minute.

With three matches remaining, Inter lead the table with 82 points and can no longer be caught by second-placed Napoli, who have 70.

This marks Inter’s 21st Italian league title. Last season’s champions were Napoli, while Juventus hold the record with 36 titles.
