Hungary blocks additional funds from the European Peace Fund for Armenia.
Axar.az reports that this was stated at a press conference in Yerevan by Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission, when asked whether the news about the veto on the allocation of additional funds from the European Peace Fund for Armenia was true.
She noted that the European Union consists of 27 sovereign states, each of which has its own position, and decisions are made based on consensus.
“We are trying to find a solution to the issue. Yes, there is no decision yet, but we are looking for a solution.”
