Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan plans to hold a march to the residence of Catholicos Gregory II in Echmiadzin on July 22.

Axar.az informs that “Hraparak” reported this, citing sources.

“Gathering supporters and members of the Civil Contract Party, Pashinyan intends to hold a march to the residence of the Catholicos. The date was not chosen by chance - the Prime Minister is on vacation from July 18 to 23. Pashinyan personally discussed the scenarios of the action and coordinated it with his chief of staff, Araik Harutyunyan. It is expected that possible resistance from the clergy will be suppressed with the participation of organized groups, plainclothes police, and security forces,” the source said.
