SOCAR can invest in Albania

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is interested in investing in Albania, President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, said at the meeting with the Ambassador of Albania in Baku, Gent Kazheli.

The Azerbaijani leader stressed the importance of the joint implementation of the project ‘Southern Gas Corridor’, and also noted that SOCAR is interested in investing in the Albanian economy as a whole.

According to Aliyev, the political ties between Baku and Tirana are successfully developing and open the mutually beneficial prospects for the bilateral cooperation.
