Ukraine-Russia trade turnover has dropped threefold

The list of top-10 trading partners of the Russian Federation has undergone only one change over the past five years as Ukraine fell out of it. Ukraine-Russia trade turnover has dropped almost threefold since 2014, from $18.5 billion to $6.9 billion in the first half of this year.

Axar.az reports citing Kommersant Russian newspaper that Kazakhstan took Ukraine’s place with $8.9 billion in trade turnover with Russia.

The foreign trade turnover of the Russian Federation in the first half of 2019 amounted to $318 billion, down 3.3% compared to the first half of 2017 ($329 billion).
