Yemen’s Houthi group has claimed it carried out an attack using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones against Saudi military sites in the southwestern Jazan region.

Axar.az reports, citing Anadolu Agency, that Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the operation targeted operations rooms, command-and-control centers, weapons depots and other military sites in the Al-Tuwal area.

Saree said missile launch sites at Al-Daghareer camp and several Saudi military camps in Jazan were also targeted. He claimed the strikes were “accurate and direct” and caused hundreds of casualties among Saudi forces, as well as Yemeni and Sudanese personnel.

The spokesman also claimed that several Saudi weapons depots were destroyed or set ablaze.
