An Azerbaijani delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economy Niyazi Safarov will attend the first Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) on June 25-26, 2016 in Beijing, China.

Under the theme of “Partnership for Infrastructure Development”, the meeting will connect finance and development professionals to exchange ideas on Asian infrastructure development and regional connectivity.

Governors and representatives from the Bank’s 57 founding signatories, along with invited observers from international partners, will participate in the Meeting. There will also be a program of seminars in the morning of June 26 that accredited guests from the private sector, civil society organizations and academia are welcome to attend.
