Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR is in talks with Iran on the purchase of technical gas to fill Azerbaijan’s underground gas storage facilities, President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev told reporters Sept. 5.

He said that earlier, such negotiations were being held with the Russian Gazprom company, however SOCAR was not satisfied with the Russian gas company’s conditions.
