Missile attack on the “Green Zone” in Iraq

The Iraqi capital, Baghdad’s Green Zone, which is home to foreign embassies, was hit by a missile, but no reports of casualties were received.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media that alarm bells were heard in central Baghdad last night and the sound of explosions was heard.

Two missiles fired from multiple rocket launchers crashed near the US embassy.

Recently, Baghdad’s “Green Zone”, a heavily guarded area in the center of the Iraqi capital, has been under frequent missile strikes.

Earlier it was reported that two missiles had crashed in the area on the night of March 2.
