Tensions rises in Libya: A heavy blow on Haftar

The army of the National Accord Government shot down a military plane carrying weapons to mercenaries linked to Khalifa Haftar in Libya.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from a spokesman for the National Accord Government, Mohammad Kununu.

The government did not provide details about the shooting down of the military plane.

Earlier, government forces said they had made progress against Haftar mercenaries in the Ain Zara and Wadi al-Rabi districts south of Tripoli.
