On the night of September 12, three policemen were killed in an armed attack in the city of Mirjaveh in Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province.

Axar.az reports that Iranian media has provided this information.

It was reported that the deceased were Amir Ebrahimzadeh, Parsa Suzani, and Lieutenant Amin Naruyi.

Shortly after the incident, the ethnic Baloch armed organization "Jaish al-Adl" issued a statement claiming responsibility for the attack.

"This is a response to the government's brutality against the poor people, especially those forced to engage in retail fuel smuggling," the statement said.
