Fire engulfs 150-year-old mansion in Safranbolu, Turkiye

A 150-year-old two-story mansion belonging to Recep Özkan (Ozkan) in the İsmetpaşa (Esmatpasha) neighborhood of Safranbolu, located in Karabük Province, Turkiye, has been burned down.

Axar.az reports that the fire, which occurred for unknown reasons, was extinguished by fire-fighting teams called to the scene.

After the fire, the historical building has become uninhabitable.

Currently, the causes of the fire are under investigation.
