Azerbaijan will buy new arms from Moscow - President

We are holding talks with Moscow on weapon trade.

Axar.az reports that, President of Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev told that in an interview with RIA Novosti at Davos Economic Forum.

Head of the state noted that, military industry of Russia has developed into high levels: "We are interested in advanced defense weapons especially. It includes helicopters, defense systems - all complexes. It is a permanent process".

President of Azerbaijan said that, there are perspectives for signing new contracts between Russian and Azerbaijanian defense industry: "You know the history. Numbers were declared. Contracts worth $5b were signed. Majority of them are already realized".
