Putin dismisses Russian ambassador to UK

Russian President Vladimir Putin has relieved Andrey Kelin of his duties as Russia’s ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Axar.az informs, citing Russian media, Kelin completed his diplomatic mission on September 1, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Putin appointed Kelin as Russia’s ambassador to the UK in November 2019. He replaced Alexander Yakovenko, who had headed the diplomatic mission in Britain for eight years.
