President of the Republic of Azerbaijani Ilham Aliyev has extended a letter of condolences to the President of the United States of America Donald Trump.

The letter reads:

“Dear Mr. President. I was deeply saddened by the reports of casualties and injuries resulting from armed attacks in Texas, Ohio, and Illinois.

On behalf of myself and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and relatives of the dead, and the American people in connection with these horrific events and wish the wounded to be restored as soon as possible. ”
