Seven beauties mugham concert performed by Alim Gasimov in UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

Axar.az informs that, the Western European bureau reports that the concert was organized by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to UNESCO on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Novruz's inclusion into this list of intangible heritage.

Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Sevda Mammadaliyeva, permanent representative to UNESCO Anar Kerimov, representatives of the diplomatic corps and other guests attended the event.

Speakers at the ceremony gave detailed information about the heritage of mankind, about the Azerbaijani mugham, which has always been tastefully listened by each nation of Novruz and different languages, bringing together peoples with their traditions.

Speaking at the event, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to UNESCO Anar Kerimov said that Nowruz is a symbol of brotherhood, friendship, peace and reconciliation and spoke about the significance of this feast during the era of today's conflicts.

The Azerbaijani mugham was warmly welcomed by world-famous singer Alim Gasimov. Mirsaeed Khavar Nejad, Tariq Zaki Valiyev, Cavidan Nabiyev accompanied the khan.
