A large number of explosives were discovered in a farm-type building belonging to a residential building located near a winery in Khojavend village of Khojavend region.

Axar.az was informed about this by the Azerbaijan Minesweeping Agency (ANAMA).

It was noted that during the operations carried out by the ANAMA employees, a large number of explosive charges prepared to cause a powerful explosion consisting of improvised explosive devices, explosives, electric and non-electric detonators, as well as improvised explosive devices installed using D1 hand grenades manufactured in Armenia, were found in the mentioned area. Explosive devices were discovered.

The detected explosives were neutralized by ANAMA employees and the security of the area was ensured.

It should be noted that landmines and improvised explosive devices are regularly found during demining operations in liberated territories. For this purpose, ANAMA called on citizens not to enter areas and facilities where they are not sure of their safety, and not to touch unfamiliar objects.
