President Ilham Aliyev shared on his Facebook account on the occasion of May 28 - Republic Day.

Axar.az informs that, it was noted in Ilham Aliyev's statement on May 28 - Republic Day.

"Today's Azerbaijani state, the successor of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, has fulfilled the aspirations of our people for independence. I am confident that our independence will continue to develop and Azerbaijan's state independence will live forever," the congratulatory message said.
