Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he views the agreement reached between the United States and Iran as an important development for ensuring peace and stability in the region, welcoming it with satisfaction.

Axar.az informs that in a post on X, Erdogan stressed the importance of avoiding statements and provocations that could increase tensions until the signing ceremony takes place, and warned of the need to remain vigilant against possible sabotage attempts.

He also thanked Pakistan for its mediation efforts, along with the leadership of the United States and Iran, while praising the diplomatic support provided by Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Erdogan added that Turkiye will continue to support all initiatives aimed at peace and stability in the region, and contribute to sustainable solutions based on diplomacy and international law.
