The Georgian segment of social networks reacted harshly to the idea of Armenians living in Abkhazia to establish their autonomy in the region.

Axar.az reports that Armenians have already thought of the name of their quasi-state - "Armenian Abkhazia" and even created a map.

"The point is that there are many Armenians (50,000 Abkhazians, 55,000 Georgians and 60,000 Armenians) living in Abkhazia, and they have been able to take control of virtually all important and key places there. At present, groups are being formed in Abkhazia to establish a "new Armenian state" and unite Armenians," the statement said.

It should be noted that Abkhazia is not the first region where Armenian separatism has begun to manifest itself. For many years, similar passions have been burning around the Samtskhe-Javakheti region.

Armenians who settled here in the 19th century are trying to prove that these territories have belonged to their people since ancient times and in principle call the region "Javakh". In addition, according to Georgian sources, Armenia claims 465 Georgian churches.
