The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry welcomed the agreement that will create favorable conditions for the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza.

Axar.az reports that this was shared on the X account of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

"We welcome the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza, the opening of the way for the release of hostages and prisoners, as well as the agreement that will create favorable conditions for the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and its reconstruction.

We hope that all stages of the agreement will be duly implemented and efforts for a just and lasting peace in the region will be strengthened. We appreciate the mediation of the United States, Turkiye, Qatar, and Egypt towards this outcome," the post said.
