Azerbaijan and Italy discuss a strategic partnership

As part of his official visit to Italy, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Lorenzo Fontana, Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, and discussed a strategic partnership.

Axar.az reports that the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry published a statement on this.

It was noted that during the meeting, the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Italy, the dynamic development of political dialogue, and the exchange of views on directions for strengthening interparliamentary cooperation were discussed.

Both sides stressed the importance of continuing cooperation in the energy, trade, culture, and humanitarian spheres to ensure common interests and regional stability.

J. Bayramov informed the other party about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period.
