Aliyev: Peace with Armenia already realized

President Ilham Aliyev clarified the issue of whether a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be signed this year in an interview with Azerbaijani TV channels in Munich.

Axar.az reports that the head of state said in response to a question on this matter:

“You know that this does not depend on us. Our position has been conveyed to the Armenian side for many years. Necessary changes should be made to the Constitution of Armenia. As soon as those changes are made, we can sign a peace treaty the next day. But despite this, I believe that peace has already been achieved between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
