Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on the occasion of his country's national holiday.
Axar.az presents the text of the letter:
"On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Serbia, I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to you and all your people in your person, on behalf of myself and the people of Azerbaijan, and convey my most sincere wishes.
The current level of our relations with Serbia, a friendly country and our reliable strategic partner, is gratifying. Today, our friendly and cooperative relations, built on sound foundations of mutual support and trust, are developing comprehensively and are being enriched with new content. Undoubtedly, regular mutual visits at the highest level and our active political dialogue create conditions for the more rapid development of these relations and the strengthening of our strategic partnership. I remember our recent meeting with you in Davos with the most pleasant impressions.
I am confident that with our joint efforts, we will achieve further expansion of the traditional friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, mutually beneficial cooperation on both a bilateral and multilateral basis in accordance with the interests of our peoples, and further deepening of the strategic partnership.
On this auspicious day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your work, and constant peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Serbia."
