Aliyev, Zelensky discuss cooperation amid Russian attacks

Traditionally, the Munich Security Conference has become one of the main political forums in recent years. This year, many important events were held in Munich, including a meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Many issues and cooperation issues between the two countries were discussed at this meeting.

According to him, among other issues, at this forum, the leaders of Ukraine and Azerbaijan discussed issues related to Russia's attacks on Ukraine:

"President Aliyev noted that the assets of the Azerbaijani company SOCAR were attacked at least three times, and the Azerbaijani embassy in Ukraine was seriously damaged. He emphasized that Russia's war against Ukraine is gradually affecting other countries. Azerbaijan has suffered very serious losses due to the damage to both the assets of the company SOCAR and the embassy building.

In addition, Ukraine and Azerbaijan discussed the potential for cooperation and the development of projects to be implemented in the near future within the framework of the conference."
