The third round of key negotiations between the United States and Iran has started in Geneva, Switzerland.
Axar.az. citing CNN, reports that delegations from both countries arrived earlier at the residence of Oman’s ambassador.
The indirect discussions, facilitated by Oman, aim to tackle issues related to Iran’s nuclear program and potential sanctions relief, though both sides have previously expressed doubts about each other’s intentions.

According to Al Alam, following the morning session of the third-round talks, which lasted three hours, the negotiating teams took a scheduled break to consult with their capitals, with discussions set to resume later in the evening.

The latest round of talks between the United States and Iran in Geneva has concluded, Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi announced on X:
"We have finished the day after significant progress in the negotiation between the United States and Iran. We will resume soon after consultation in the respective capitals. Discussions on a technical level will take place next week in Vienna. I am grateful to all concerned for their efforts: the negotiators, the IAEA, and our hosts the Swiss government."
