Russian Embassy in Baku thanks Azerbaijan

The Russian Embassy in Baku expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az, citing APA, reports that this was shared by an official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry on their Telegram channel.

Azerbaijan was thanked for the assistance provided, including the prompt processing of border-crossing permits from Iran:

“The Russian Embassy in Azerbaijan is assisting Russian citizens leaving Iran at the Astara border crossing point. We would like to express our gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for the help provided, including the expedited processing of border permits.”

It was also noted that currently, about 500 Russian citizens are on the list of those authorized to cross from Iran into Azerbaijan.
