Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart Yermek Kosherbayev.

Axar.az informs, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the ministers discussed the recent military escalation and rising tensions in the region. They expressed deep concern over the situation and stressed that any further deterioration could pose a serious threat to regional security and stability.

Both sides noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the consular sections of their diplomatic missions in the region and coordinating support for their citizens.

The conversation also included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
