Japan Embassy in Azerbaijan suspends operations

The Embassy of Japan in Azerbaijan has suspended its operations due to the situation in the region.

Axar.az reports that the information was shared on the embassy’s Facebook page.

“Due to ongoing events in the region, the embassy has suspended its activities for an indefinite period. The acceptance of visa applications and the issuance of ready visas have also been halted. We ask for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience,” the statement read.
