Markov - About release of Lapshin

Russian political analyst Sergey Markov commented on President Ilham Aliyev's decree on pardoning blogger Alexander Lapshin.

Axar.az reports that, according to Markov, Azerbaijan has demonstrated its ideal political position in the case of Lapshine:"What's important here is that Lapshin has taken this step not because he is a good man and confessed to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, but because of Azerbaijan's compromising to friendly partners and friendly countries. Azerbaijan has demonstrated a brilliant, ideal political position in the case of Lapshin. "
