Ambassador met with the mayor of Rio de Janeiro

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Federative Republic of Brazil Elkhan Polukhov met with the mayor of Rio de Janeiro Marcelo Crivella.

Axar.az informs that, during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral relations, mutual visits, exchange of experience in the field of tourism and the organization and conduct of Formula 1 tournaments.

The city of Rio de Janeiro has been declared a sister city since 2015, and Rio de Janeiro has been operating as a municipal school in Azerbaijan since 2016.
