An agreement was reached with Armenia on the return of 4 villages of Gazakh to Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that this was agreed upon at the eighth meeting of the State Commission on Delimitation of the State Border between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the Commission on Delimitation of the State Border and Border Security between Armenia and Azerbaijan held on April 19.

Thus, at the initial stage of the delimitation process, the parties identified separate parts of the borderline as Baganis (ER) - Baganis Ayrim (AR), Voskepar (ER) - Aşagi Eskipara (AR) according to the legally justified inter-republic border that existed within the Soviet Union at the time of its fall. , Kirants (ER) - Kheyrimli (AR) and Berkaber (ER) - Kizilhajili (AR) settlements have agreed to pass directly.

It was decided that the descriptive coordinates of these parts of the borderline should be drawn up taking into account their refinement based on geodetic measurements on the ground, and this should be documented and signed by the parties by the relevant Protocol-description by May 15, 2024.
