Pezeshkian is steps ahead, media polls indicate

Based on research and opinion polls conducted on social media, the popularity level of the presidential candidate Masoud Pezeshkian and his main rival Said Jalili by province has been announced.

Axar.az informs that local media reported on this.

From the results, it was found that Masoud Pezeshkian was ahead in 24 out of 31 provinces with a large margin, while Said Jalili had relative popularity in only 7 provinces.

It was said that the Azerbaijani politician could collect 72 percent of the votes in East Azerbaijan province, 61 percent in West Azerbaijan province, 65 percent in Ardabil, and 59 percent in Zanjan.

The popularity levels of 4 other candidates in all provinces are incomparably lower than that of Masoud Pezeshkian.
