Iran, and Tajik presidents meet in Khankendi

The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, held a meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Khankendi.

Axar.az informs the Tajik president’s official website reports that during the talks, the two leaders discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation and key issues on the summit agenda.

Both sides noted their satisfaction with the current level of bilateral relations and their ongoing development. They also agreed on the importance of continuing the implementation of agreements reached during previous high-level meetings.

The two leaders reportedly also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and cooperation.
