The situation in the South Caucasus will be unpredictable and very dangerous.

Axar.az reports that Russian expert Yevgeny Mikhailov said this in an interview with "Moscow-Baku".

"It will affect everything. The West will instill an aggressive anti-Russian vector in the region. He will continue to pit Russia and Azerbaijan against each other. In addition, I do not believe that a peace treaty should be concluded between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Because the West is trying to manipulate in this matter, to somehow protect the interests of Armenia. In the absence of a peace treaty, the West will increase arms supplies to Armenia. And new military operations are possible. "Considering how things have been going on in the Middle East, between Israel and Palestine, between Israel and Iran for a long time - since last fall, and the situation has again taken on extremely dangerous trends in recent days, the intersection of the South Caucasus and the Caspian region can flare up at any time," he said.
