Leading foreign media outlets have extensively covered the speech of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the International Cernobbio Forum, dedicated to the topic "Knowledge about the World, Europe, and Italy" during the session titled "Azerbaijan’s Role in the New Geopolitical Landscape."

Axar.az reports that in the article titled "Azerbaijan President Confident in Gas Route Talks with Ukraine" by the international news agency Reuters, the President's statements on Baku’s mediation concerning the transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine are discussed.

In Bloomberg's article titled "Azerbaijan in Talks to Supply Gas to Three More European Countries," it is noted that Azerbaijan already supplies gas to eight European countries and has an agreement with the European Union to double exports by 2027.

"Ilham Aliyev confirmed that Moscow and Kyiv approached him in December, after the main agreement expired, to facilitate gas transit to Europe through Ukraine. One solution could be to replace Russian supplies by purchasing gas from another country, such as Azerbaijan or Turkiye. This would allow Ukraine to continue receiving transit fees, while Europe would continue to receive gas," the article states.

President Aliyev's statements on Europe's energy security and the transit of Russian gas were also widely covered by agencies such as the Financial Post, Straits Times, and U.S. News.

Meanwhile, the Russian newspaper *Moskovskiy Komsomolets* devoted an article to President Ilham Aliyev's statements regarding support for Ukraine's territorial integrity and Azerbaijan's position on sanctions against Russia.

"We support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine and all other countries. However, Azerbaijan has not been and will not be part of the anti-Russia sanctions campaign," the publication cites President Ilham Aliyev.

The Russian news agency TASS, in its article "Aliyev States Baku's Willingness to Participate in Settling Moscow-Kyiv Conflict," notes that President Ilham Aliyev did not rule out Azerbaijan’s possible participation in resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The Azerbaijani President's statements regarding Russia and Ukraine were also widely covered in Russian media outlets such as Komsomolskaya Pravda, Interfax, Vedomosti, Izvestia, and others.
